The Company
Knibbs Computer Services Ltd (Knibbs) was founded by Tim Knibbs in 1998.
We have been servicing businesses of all sizes throughout the UK specialising in IT support, technology consulting, CyberSecurity and IT security.
We have experience in many sectors including banking, insurance, accounting, law, publishing, manufacturing and engineering.
We pride ourselves on customer service excellence and attention to detail. All our consultants have a wide range of experience allowing us to deliver innovative solutions and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Our Account Management and Technical Services Team have many years experience between them, having worked in many different industries and bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise with them.
Merger
I’m pleased to announce that on the 1st April 2025 we merged with Wessex IT – another leading, and local provider of managed IT, cloud and security services.
After over 25 years of me running the company, the last few dealing with serious illness, the board decided that we needed to make some changes whilst looking after our loyal team delivering great customer service and value for money to our clients.
After a lot of planning we found an ideal partner in Wessex IT – a company with the same small business, personal touch outlook, but with a lot more resources. They share the same values as we do, so we know everyone is in good hands.
Right now it’s very much business as usual. Our processes and contact details are unchanged* for now, with the team here to support you as they always have. I’m taking more of a back seat now to focus on my health but I’m still helping the team behind the scenes to ensure a successful and secure transition.

Although the majority of our clients can be categorised as Small and Medium Enterprises we also service a number of non-profit organisations and international corporate entities. We currently have customers with offices in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, across the pond and in mainland Europe
